He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Curtis Stanford and Ann Joiner Lee. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lindberg Stanford; his children, Briana Jane Stanford and Curtis Wayne Stanford; his grandson Mason Laake of Wharton; his siblings, Nora Chalue and Kevin Stanford; and also Raymond E. Lee of Wharton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
