It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jakob Tyler Gentry of Wharton, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Mitchell Gentry (Yesenia) of El Campo and Brandi Renee Castillo; his father-in-law Jason James of Wharton; his stepdaughter Kaiden; his siblings, Angel 'Sadie" Gentry, Emerald Gentry, Laila James, Pearl Gentry, Jade Gentry, Brandon James, Jason, Miguel Mendoza and Mitchel Gentry, 3rd; his nieces, Scarlett Mendoza and Crimsyn Mendoza; and his grandfather John Castillo, Sr. (Sylvia) of Wharton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
