He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Rivera and Reyes Rivera. He is survived by: his children, Hernaldo Rivera, Jr., Brian Luz Rivera (Maria Lucilla), Benjamin Jesus Rivera and Veronica Rivera Postel (Adolph Duane Postel III); his grandchildren, Vivian Danielle Zapata, Adolph Dylan Postel IV, Brian Rivera Jr., Bellamy Wycoff, Angelo Postel, Ava Postel and Brissa Rivera; his siblings, Lupe, Martin, David Rivera, Dolores, Maria and Erlinda Rivera; and his partner Guadalupe Garza. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many cherished friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM at the Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598). A prayer was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
