He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Sherrill and Ovie Sherrill; and his siblings, Willis Sherrill, Franklin Sherrill and Jane Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kenneth Sherrill (Janis) of Houston, William Sydney Sherrill (Peggy) of Wharton and Sue Sherrill Durio (Keith) of Lakeway; his grandchildren, Austin Sherrill (Pia), Courtney Lynch (Matt), Kaylyn Sherrill, Jenna Durio, Lani Durio and Michelle Aldridge (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Travis, Carlota, Ramona Sherrill, Kaylie and Chloe Miska.
