He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Shilk Sr. and Ivory Bradley Shilk. He is survived by: his wife Judy Barr; his daughters, Rachel Ondrias (Gavin) and Samantha Cockerham (Casey); his grandchildren, Kane Ondrias, Molly Ondrias, Donovan Cockerham and Daxton Cockerham; his brother Danny Shilk (Jean); his nephew Todd Shilk (Becky); and his niece Erin Walker (Jon). He is also survived by 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Wharton, Texas in memory of Harold.
