With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guadalupe Valdez of Wharton, Texas, born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Charles and John Joe Valdez, Sr.; and his siblings, Refugio Cox, Helen Paniagua, Mary Luisa Guajardo, Angie Lopez, Jesse Valdez, Sr., Lorenzo Valdez, Sr., John Joe Valdez, Jr. and Additionally.
He is survived by: his daughter Tanya Valdez Mendiola (Roy); his siblings, Genaro Hernandez (Delia), Corrina Cortez (David) and Mary Rose Cox (Roger); his grandchildren, Madison Nycole Mendiola and Ryan Michael Mendiola; his great grandchildren, Krislynn Faith Mendiola, Jeremiah Rene Mendiola, Madilynn Elizabeth Mendiola and Lovelynn Flavey Garcia; his children, Chase Allyn Denison and Sophia Analise Lathon; and his girlfriend Rocio "Karla" Bravo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
While serving, he received the Air Force Accommodation Medal for his contributions to our country.
