We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2023, at the age of 98, Felicitas Mireles of Wharton, Texas, born in Flatonia, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Blasa Herrera Castillo and Felipe Castillo; her husband Lorenzo, Sr.; and her siblings, Inez Flores, Delores Rios, Mary Frances Castillo, Frank Castillo, Crecencia Castillo, Amador Castillo and Carmen Castillo.

She is survived by: her children, Julia Mireles, Juan Mireles, Pete (Mary Mireles), Joe (Bertha Mireles) and Leonard (Mary Lopez); her grandchildren, David Soliz, Adrian Mireles and Kimberly Ann Mireles; her children-in-law, Freddie Alvarado and Luisa Mireles; her children, Mary Lydia "Lillie" Alvarado, Margaret Sanchez (Juan), Paul Mireles Sr. (Terry), Laura Soliz (Domingo), Larry Mireles (Eva), Richard Mireles of Montgomery and Jessie Mireles (Rosalinda); and her siblings, Antonio Castillo of Wharton, Lupe Castillo and Mary Luna of Houston. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory of Felicitas Mireles to Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Wharton.
