He was predeceased by: his parents, Luiz and Hurvana Diaz Amador, Sr.; his sister Julia Reyes; and his granddaughter Tiffany Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Janie Amador of Wharton; his children, Diana Ruiz (Armando) of Iago, Connie Castro (Johnny) of Wharton, Mary Chavez (Pepe) of Springtown, Angela Roberson (Ron) of Alabama, David Amador, Jr. (Sharould) of Bat City and Gabriel Amador (Nely) of Richmond; and his siblings, Lupe Arrambide of El Campo, Josie Soliz of Arizona, Lydia Hernandez of Arizona, Mary Inez of California, Luis Amador, Sr. and Manuel Amador of Arizona. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
