He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F Heffner, Sr. and Margaret Bertha Toups Heffner; and his brothers, Dwight D. Heffner (Ike) and Walter F Heffner, Jr. (Sonny). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Heffner of Wharton; his children, Gary Heffner of Wharton, Sheri Heffner of Wharton, Denee Green of El Campo and Kristina Senf (Robert) of Wharton; his brothers, Gerard Heffner (Beverly) of Pleasenton and Richard Heffner (Frances) of Wharton; his grandchildren, Tanner Heffner (Ashlea), Chloe Firkins (Chase), Nikolaus Housos, Madisyn Scarlett, Davin Hicks, Korbin Hicks, Aubree Penrice, Skylar Penrice, Karli Senf and Kinsley Senf; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Heffner, Cohen Heffner and Emily Firkins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, St. Jude's Children's' hospital or Charity of your Choice in his honor.
