He was predeceased by: his father Henry Edward; his son Curtis Lee Shed, Jr.; his granddaughter Elena Shed; and his siblings, Dee Koehler, Hubert Shed and David Shed.
He is survived by: his former wife Linda Kay Lackey; his wife Linda "Kay" Shed of Lane City; his children, Sherri Shed of Coppers Cove, Christi Mejorado (Ray) of Wharton, Susan Vallejo (Carlos) of Lake Jackson and Russell Shed (Grace) of Sweeny; his siblings, Geraldine Englehardt, Jimmy Shed and Eugene Shed; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Lackey (Sondra), Carol Adams and Karen Lackey. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
