He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Ybarbo and Elisa Maldonado Ybarbo; his wife Jane Solorzano Ybarbo; and his siblings, Amelia Flores (Paul), Janie Sedillo, Lena Quintanilla (Ascension, Sr.), Frances Ybarbo, Louis Ybarbo (Elvira) and Julian Ybarbo.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Compian of Wharton and Bruno Ybarbo, Jr. (Linda) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Amanda and Jaden Compian; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Sedillo and Rachel Ybarbo.
