He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Brod and Frances Dobias Brod; his son Glen Brod; and his brothers, Leroy Brod and Richard Brod.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Brod of Wharton; his daughter Cynthia Guillot (Randy) of Iola, TX; his daughter-in-law Elaine Brod of Rosenberg; his stepdaughter Shelly Cerny (Pat) of El Campo; his brother Daniel Brod (Lillian) of Wharton; his grandchildren, Dustin, Scott, Kristy and Chris; and his stepgrandchildren, Kassie Cerny and Kayla Lezak. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
