He was predeceased by: his parents, Alejandro Rodriguez, Sr. and Aurora Rubio Rodriguez; his daughter Doreen Rodriguez; his brother Esteban Rodriguez; and his nephew Andrew Rodriguez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alexia Rodriguez (Bruce Case), Leslie Rodriguez of Boling, Bridgette Matula of Boling, Suzette Torres (Mike) of Missouri City and Cristina Doreen Hinojosa of San Antonio; the mother of his children Diana Samora Rodriguez; his siblings, Azelia Stark (Steven), Esmeralda DelaCruz and Reynaldo Rodriguez; his sister-in-law Irma Rodriguez; and his grandchildren, Breann Aurora Matula, Anthony Michael Torres, Brenna Doreen Marie Matula, Alana Doreen Rodriguez, Dorien Samora Rodriguez, Jacob Keyshawn Torres and Brandon Wayne Matula, Jr..
In 2010, he received the Gift of Life in the form of a kidney donation from his nephew, D.J. King.
