We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2023, at the age of 93, Aileen Chumchal of Wharton, Texas, born in Hillje, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schmidt and Beatrice Polasek Schmidt of Hillje, TX.; her husband Irvin Chumchal of Hungerford; and her siblings, Martha Holub, Henrietta Bures, Edwin Schmidt and Gilbert Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Karol Curran (Michael) of Dallas, Cindy Marek (James) of Wallis, Lana Leech (Simon) of Amarillo, Roy of Wharton, Curtis of Wharton, Kelly (Sandra) of Wharton and Wes Chumchal of Wharton; her grandchildren, Brandon Curran, Michaela Overturf (Steven), Myles Marek (Courtney), Mason Marek, Nathan Leech, Derrick, Courtney, Ross, Kurt, Kyle, Hannah and Ralston Chumchal; and her great grandchildren, Bayleigh, Hudson, Madelyn, Knox, Ava and Finn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
