She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermitt L. Giles and Vivian McCarley Giles; her husband C. Paul Wood; her son Todd Andrew Wood; her grandson Bryan Richards; her stepson Bill Walker; her siblings-in-law, Jessie Giles and Joe Pendergrass (Donald Walker); and her former husband Donald A. Walker.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Wood Richards; her grandchildren, Andrew Richards and Bethany Richards Frelin (Anders); her great grandchild Stella Blair Frelin; and her siblings, Benny Giles (Joy) of Hamilton and Maude Ann Pendergrass of Greenville. She is also survived by many extended family members, and a host of friends.
