He is survived by: his children, Dawn Peterson (Mark) of Westhoff and Milton "Mik" K. Weikel, Jr. (Julie) of Arlington; his siblings, Patricia Walker of Anacortes, Washington and Alan Weikel (Barbra) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Amanda Weikel of Ft. Worth, Andrea Weikel of Colleyville, Adam Weikel (Courtney) and Jami Peterson of Arlington; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Weikel, Emma Weikel, Aiden Weikel, Ella Weikel, Bekka Ware, Caity Peterson and Michelle Peterson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Barnstorming Museum in Hallettsville for their flying scholarships or The American Cancer Society.
