She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Fryer and Stella Campbell; her husband Joe Sims; and her siblings, Myrtle McMillan, Lola Fryer Richardson, Mattie Mae Fryer, Herman Fryer, Brack Fryer, Will Fryer and Lawrence Fryer.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Thomas Baptist Church in Westhoff.
