He was predeceased by: his parents, John Manax and Ettie Manax (Chandler); his wife Glenda "Sue" Worley; and his siblings, John Manax Sr., Athena Young and Barbara Witburn.
He is survived by: his caregiver April Johnson of West; his daughters, Ruth Manax Miller (Jeff) of Phoenix, AZ and Dr. Victoria Manax Rutson (David) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Sarah Miller and Alexander Rutson; his siblings, Dr. Stan Manax and Helen Vickers; and his friend Denice Kubacak. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
