She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Raul and Olivia Brenes-Paz (Aguilar). She is survived by: her husband Mark Kostecka of West; her sons, Mark Allen "M. J." Kostecka Jr. of West and Joseph Edwin Kostecka of West; and her brother Jose Brenes-Paz (Christina) of Holland, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
