He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Soukup and Evelyn Soukup (Petter); his sister Evelyn Polansky; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Soukup and Don Philen.
He is survived by: his friend Pivo; his wife Fern Soukup of West; his children, Dennis O'Connor (Chris), Denise O'Connor, Donald O'Connor (Karen), Doug O'Connor, Daryll O'Connor and David O'Connor (Shelly); his siblings, Jerry Soukup (Georgia), Alvin Soukup (Dorene), Joe Soukup Jr., Mary Holy (Don), Josie Walter, Martha Philen and Patricia Kaluza (John); and his brother-in-law John Polansky. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A rosary was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fatima Cemetery.
