It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Joseph Broussard of West, Texas, born in Rayne, Louisiana, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaze Dupre Broussard and Edith Broussard (Leger); his siblings, Gilford Broussard and Nabbie Brown; and his son Todd Broussard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Broussard (Fontenot); his daughter Annette Baer (Chuck Long); his granddaughters, Bailey Baer and Brooke Baer of Orange; his grandson-in-law Gary Cole of Orange; his great grandchildren, Nicholas of Orange, Rylan of Orange and Jackson of Orange; and his siblings, Eddie Broussard of Beaumont, TX, Dupre Broussard (Eva) of Walker, LA, Renola Daigle (Thomas) of Church Point, LA and Barbara Meche of Rayne, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
