He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gerik and Amalie Gerik (Karlik); his wife Nona Jean Kubacak; and his siblings, Bennie, Frankie, Daniel, Edward, Joseph Gerik, Doris Nesrsta, Irene Gerik and Mary Jane Gerik.
He is survived by: his children, Marvin Gerik Jr. (Donna) of West, Amanda Gilbert (Brad) of Elm Mott, Jeanne Anderson (Bryan) of West, Chris Gerik of West, David Gerik (Jennifer) of West and Cathy Jeffers (Buddy) of West; his brother Johnny Gerik; his grandchildren, Kevin Bettge (Kenna), Tyler Bettge, Sharla Salazar (Abel), Kaden Anderson, Cole Anderson, Denton Gerik, Jessica Gerik, Daniel Gerik, Madison Gerik, Amanda Teal and Kaci Jeffers; and his great grandchildren, Gabbie, Gracelyn, Karaline, Gracie and Junior. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
