It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Elsie Perez (West, Texas), born in Abbott, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Marek and Annie Marek (Koval); her siblings, Eugene Hromadka and Josephine Marek; her son-in-law Frankie Caughenbaugh, Sr.; her grandson Frankie Caughenbaugh, Jr.; and the father of her children Joe C. Sulak.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Mynar (Larry) of Abbott, Doris Caughenbaugh of Waco, Raymond "Jake" Sulak of West, Bernice Sawyer (Steve) of West and Randy Sulak of West; her sister JoAnn Matus (Herman) of West; and her close friends, Leonard Wiese of West and Willie McDonald of West. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren.
Limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are encouraged at all services.
