He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cernosek and Anne Mae Cernosek (Karlik); his daughter Jean Marie Cernosek; his grandson-in-law Tony Ferrara; and his brothers, C. W. and Edward Cernosek.
He is survived by: his friends, Bakery and Bar-B-Queing; his wife Jeannette Cernosek of West; his children, John David (Sheila Cernosek), Theresa Cernosek of West, Kathy (Kenny Harmon) and Bernard Cernosek of Navarre, FL; his grandchildren, Amanda, Cason Landrem, Stacey Norton, Jacob Cernosek, Jhodi Ferrara-Wicker (Ryder), Mendi, David Hume, Kenneth, Alyssa Harmon, Matthew, Emily Harmon, Hunter Cernosek and Kaleigh Cernosek; his great grandchildren, Mason, Logan, Jackson, Brooklyn, Ellie, Caleb, Wyatt, Leona, Hazel, Evelyn, Jett, Hensley, Brock and Emma; and his brother Bill (Edwina Cernosek). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association or to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund.
