He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Gauer and Cathryene Gauer (Kruse); and his siblings, Henry Gauer, Joe Gauer, Adolph "PeeWee" Gauer, Teador Gauer (Vera), Alvin Gauer (Nancy), Katy Leathers (Robert), Maggie Bode (Charles) and Volie Mae Barrington (Dick).
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Curly" Glatter; his daughter Sylvia West (Ben) of West; his grandson Boonie Witt (Samantha Sellers); his great grandchild Cole Witt (Dyana); his granddaughter Tonya West; his great great grandchild Sadie Witt; his sister Willie Mae Sigler; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Glatter Kettler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Building fund, St. Martin Cemetery Association or Fuzzy Friends Rescue.
