We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2024 we had to say goodbye to George Lee Downing (West, Texas), born in Wichita Falls, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Downing and Anna Marie Downing (Splawn); and his brother Leland Downing. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Sissy" Downing of West; his sons, Phillip Downing (Shannon) of Highland Village and Jason Downing (Emilie) of West; his grandchildren, Cooper Downing, Brooklyn Downing, Madison Castilleja, Mallory Castilleja and Megan Castilleja; and his brother Richard Lee Downing (Vicki). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth.
