He was predeceased by: his father Robert Glaesmann Jr.; his brother Michael Glaesmann; and his brother-in-law Raymond "Sonny" Bartosh. He is survived by: his mother Louise Glaesmann (Gaskamp); his wife Johanna Glaesmann of West; his sons, Brandon Glaesmann (Courtney) of Whitney, Blake Glaesmann of West and Bryce Glaesmann of Austin; his grandchildren, Zachary, Keagan and Savanna Glaesmann; his sister Brenda Robinson (Rod); his sister-in-law Betty Bartosh; and his nieces and nephews, Aaron Robinson (Megan), Jeremy Campbell (Jennifer), Ashley Brazell (Rusty) and Mandy Jares (David). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Volunteer Ambulance Association.
