He is survived by: his children, Jeff Lathern (Stacie) of McGregor and Kelly Lathern (Hayden Holecek) of West; his stepchildren, Keaton Matus and Carley Matus; his grandchildren, Hailey Buice (Bradley Carrier), Grant Lathern, Pearson Lathern, Connor Lathern and Brailey Holecek; his great grandchildren, Camrie, Harlow and McCrae; and his siblings, Pat Gummelt (Ed), Jay Lathern (MaryAnn) and Steve Lathern (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Foundation.
