Frank Marek Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Marek (West, Texas), born in Abbott, Texas, who passed away on December 30, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Marek and Mary Marek (Dvorak); his wife Callie Densman; his sons, Donald Marek and Jeffrey Michael Marek; his stepson Danny Harris; the mother of his children Hana Marek Jackson; and his siblings, Edmund Marek, Aline Kaluza, Leona Kral and Helen Smith.

He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bert" Marek (Becky) of Dallas, Ashley of West, Garry Marek and Lesley of West; his stepdaughter Bonnie Brown (Boy Shun Murry); and his siblings, Edwin Marek (Rosalie), Mary Ann Hutyra and Shirley Willenborg (Jack). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Closner Cemetery Association.
