With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest L Bezdek (West, Texas), born in Penelope, Texas, who passed away on November 24, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Bezdek and Hattie Bezdek (Holacka); his wife Evelyn Girard; his sister Doris Konvicka; his granddaughter Brittany Polasek; and his nephew Ernie Konvicka.
He is survived by: his children, Dolores Prince of Austin, Ernest "Sonny" Bezdek Jr. (Renee) of Humble and Lisa Pavelka (Mark) of West; his grandchildren, Ken Prince (Cari Senefsky), Kimberly Bezdek, Dex Bell, Amber Pavelka and Crystal Pavelka; his grandson-in-law David Polasek; and his great grandchildren, Avery and Makayla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Limited capacity, facial masks, and social distancing are required at all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, the History of West Museum or the charity of your choice.
