With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Bishop (West, Texas), born in Ruth, Nevada, who passed away on May 17, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bishop and Virginia Bishop (Fisher); his wife Christine Kral; his son Alan Bishop; and his brother Jimmy Bishop.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Martin (Jeff) of West; his grandchildren, Justin, Ashley and Brittany Martin; his siblings, Bobby Bishop (Way Nun), Raymond Bishop (Kathy) and Madeline Leibsack (Jim); and his sister-in-law Delores Bishop. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4819 Honor Guard or to the West Brethren Church Building Fund. Keep Elmer's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
