He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chambers and Helen Suggs Chambers (McCreary); and his brother Charles Suggs. He is survived by: his children, David Kadell Suggs of West and Gabriella Mocuta of Axtell; his daughter-in-law Jill Suggs; his siblings, Jim Suggs (Beverly), Don Suggs Sr., James "Bubba" Suggs, Barbara Henexson and Tammy Trimble (Jamie); his grandchildren, David Corbin Suggs and Carigan Suggs; and his niece Emily Rawls (Garett). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
