It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Parker of West Tawakoni, Texas, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on September 5, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hobson Meads and Lydia Irene Roberts Meads; her husband Walter Henderson Parker; and her brother Milton Meads (Maggot). She is survived by: her children, Daniel Parker (Pamela) of Garland, Karen Tinney (John) of West Tawakoni, Mary Jones (Kenneth) of Arkansas, Barbara Meads (Paul) of West Tawakoni and Shana Ogles (Dwight) of West Tawakoni; her sister Mary Jones (Pete) of Alabama; and also Cheweeni. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27and a half great grandchildren.
