It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Marie Streun (West Lake Hills, Texas), born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lisa Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She is survived by: her husband John Streun; her children, Emma and Luke Streun; her parents, Judith Hurtgen and James Hurtgen; her sister Traci; and her brother-in-law Dwight Crain.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Communities in Schools, in honor of Lisa's lifelong commitment to helping students.
