It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallace Milton Ashwood Jr. of West Columbia, Texas, born in Bay City, Texas, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wallace Milton Ashwood, Sr.; his stepmother Mary Ashwood; and his grandparents, Alva, Alma Ashwood, Oscar and Bertie Chavers.

He is survived by: his mother Joyce Ashwood of Sweeny, TX; his wife Sleeta Ruth Ashwood of West Columbia; his children, Eileen Ashwood (Paul) of Spicewood, TX, Priscilla Ashwood of Lake Jackson, TX, Kimberly Mitschke (JR) of Sweeny, TX and Tommy Ezell (Angela) of Yantis, TX; his sister Deidra Tucker of Houston, TX; and his stepbrother Ronnie Griffin of Brazoria, TX. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
