We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2020, at the age of 95, Mary Minshew of West Columbia, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Minshew to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Rector and Mittie Rector; her husband Howard Minshew; her siblings, Annie Doby and Billy Cone Rector; and her great grandchild Mason Minshew.
She is survived by: her children, Mack Howard Minshew (Shirley) and Maria Minshew Perry (Michael); her sister Minnie Carman (Bill); her grandchildren, Michael Abel (Gabriella), Angela Brenner (Joshua), Marissa Minshew Anderson (Donnie), Howard Minshew (Michelle), Charlotte Watson (Lance) and James Keel; her great grandchildren, Bobby, Lily Brenner, Madison Watson Cervantes (Freddie), Shelby Watson and Ryleigh Minshew; her great great grandchild Avery Jack Cervantes; and her nieces and nephews, Arley Doby (Gail), Terry Minshew (Sandra), Beth Carman and Amy Carman Sanders (John).
With all COVID-19 protocols being adhered to, the family will be receiving friends from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts honoring Mary Ruth be made to the First Baptist Church of West Columbia, 226 S. Broad St. West Columbia, Texas 77486.
