“In loving memory of Margaret Ludmila Wleczyk: My Aunt Margaret accompanied my mother, Wynetta Maeker Koenig, and me at two days after birth from a Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Army base hospital in April 1944 to Wilson, TX. by train to await the return of my dad, Sgt. Fred R. Koenig, Sr. who was based in the Aleutian Islands during WWII fighting the Japanese who had landed on the western Aleutian Islands. Aunt Margaret always held a special space in my heart for her love of my Mom, Dad and me.”
