With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Michael McCann of West Columbia, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lee (Sanders) and John Harold McCann, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Pamela McCann (Tullos); his sons, Phillip McCann, Brent McCann (Jill) and TreyLee McCann; his stepdaughters, Lara Deckert (Harley) and Jaime Etherington; his grandchildren, Bailee Mitchell (Jeff), Gunner McCann, Garrett McCann, Laney McCann, Brady McCann, Mailia McCann, Harlie Turner (Travis), Deven Deckert (Destiny), Mason and Grayson Etherington; his great grandchildren, Collins, Sloane Mitchell, Cooper, Emmie Turner and Easton Deckert; and his siblings-in-law, Sherry and Duane Epperson. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home - West Columbia (634 S Columbia Dr, West Columbia, TX 77486). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Rest Cemetery (1020 Sinclair St, West Columbia, TX 77486).
Family request that in lieu of flowers, donation be made in Mickey's name to either St. John's Lodge #5 or the Columbia Christian Senior Citizens Center.
