He is survived by: his daughter Dana Wachtel (Allen); his daughter-in-law Lisa Matula; his grandchildren, Cally Whitt (Zach), Elyssa Wachtel and Edward "Tres" Wachtel; his great grandchildren, Derrich, Nolan and Wimberly; and his siblings, Bud Matula (Elaine) and Peggy Snelgrove (Vernon).
