He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kay Crist; his stepchildren, Billy Barthelmess, Shane Barthelmess, Coby Barthelmess and Miranda Acuna; and his children, Debbie Williams, Cathy Dougherty, Janie Schmidt and Clifford Thieme Crist Jr. (Tim). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
