He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ogilvie and Mollie Ogilvie (Hilliard); his wife Wilma Lee Slaughter; and his grandson Steven Ogilvie. He is survived by: his children, Candace Guthier (Steven), Nancy Navasard (Gipsy), James Ogilvie (Jennifer) and Thomas Ogilvie (Beverly); and his grandchildren, Douglas Guthier, Erin Littleton Guthier, Jason Navasard, Jill Navasard Haro, Paul Navasard, Daniel Ogilvie and Mollie Ogilvie. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.

Charles requested that donations may be made in his name to Columbia United Methodist Church.
