She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vance Barnes and Jovita Estelle Barnes; her husband Wayne E. Johnson; her son Charles Lee King; and her siblings, Richard Thomas Barnes, Juanita Hoelewyn and Dorothy Baker.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Jennifer King of Houston; and her sister Anne Crosland of Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
