He is survived by: his wife Christine McElveen of West Columbia; his children, Cecil McElveen, Jr. (Shelly) of Brazoria, Steven McElveen (Robyn) of West Columbia and Margaret Womack (Scott Booth); and his brother Walter Wood of Pershore, England. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
