He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Mae Farris and Willie Cole; his siblings, Shirley Ann Grice and Clyde Farris; and his niece Raven Fields.
He is survived by: his pet Woof-Woof; his siblings, Sheila Davis (Kevin), Bobby Farris, Roy Farris and Gary Farris (Brook); his uncle John Farris; and his aunt Clara Anderson of West Columbia. He is also survived by 7 nieces, 8 nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews, and many relatives and friends.
