Virginia Coronado Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Sosa and Mauricia Sosa (Lopez); her husband Alejandro Coronado; her son Alex Coronado; and her siblings, Porfirio Lopez Sosa, Maria Concepcïon Lopez Sosa, Esteban Lopez Sosa (Maria Rodriguez), Ramona Gonzalez Lopez (Fernando), Ernesto Lopez Sosa (Susana), Beatriz Leal Lopez (Israel) and Gloria Garcia Lopez (Aizar).
She is survived by: her children, Maria Alicia Moreno (Jesse) and Juan Manuel Coronado (Nellie); her daughter-in-law Maria of Pilar Coronado; her grandchildren, Jesse Moreno, Luis Moreno, Johnny Coronado (Regina), Ruby Coronado (Christian Navarro), Dellanira Coronado (Rolando Montoya), Maria Pilar Garcia (Rufino), Lauriel Coronado (Estrellita) and Alexandra De Leon (Jerry); and her great grandchildren, Stella, Nathaniel, Calista, Marely, Romeo, Vasti, Abigail of Jose, RJ and Vivian. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM at the McCaleb Funeral Home (900 W 4th St, Weslaco, TX 78596). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joan of Arc Catholic Church (109 S Illinois Ave, Weslaco, TX 78596). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Park (6705 FM 88, Weslaco, TX 78596).
