Though Viola may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Viola touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Guadalupe DeAnda Sierra. She is survived by: her father Felix DeAnda; and her children, Pete Moreno Jr. (Lori), Rene Moreno (Alma), Rudy Moreno (Melanie), Noe Moreno (Marciela), Lydia Morin (Aldo) and Jaime Moreno. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Heavenly Grace Funeral Home (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joan of Arc Catholic Church (109 S Illinois Ave, Weslaco, TX 78596).
