He was predeceased by: his father Rogelio Roman Sr.; his brother Ramiro Roman; and his nephew Eleazar Roman. He is survived by: his mother Maria P. Roman; his significant other Adriana Trujillo; his siblings, Rosalinda Rios, Rogelio Roman Jr., Roberto Roman, Rachel Roman and Melissa Reyes; and his children, Kristian Hawkshaw, Ruben Roman Jr. and Emily Roman. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the McCaleb Funeral Home (900 W 4th St, Weslaco, TX 78596). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Joan of Arc Catholic Church (109 S Illinois Ave, Weslaco, TX 78596). A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Park Cemetery (12506 Mile 2 W, Mercedes, TX 78570, USA).
