He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Sr. Lerma and Emma Maria Lerma (Castro); and his son-in-law Pete Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Ofilia Lerma; his daughters, Zabrina Rodriguez of Weslaco, Zamantha Nicole Lerma of Weslaco, Zavannah Lerma (Jay) of Weslaco, Leah Lerma of Weslaco and Lena Lerma of Weslaco; his brothers, Rolando Lerma (Sonia), Ricardo Lerma and Rudy Lerma (Rosie); and his grandchildren, Leo, Ebony, Diego, Jayden, Riot, Darian, Devin, Darren, Zoey, Gianna, Derek, Maddux, Evan, Izaiah, Larissa and Dominick. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family is requesting contributions to Roberto's life celebration in lieu of flowers.
