He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Fernandez and Francisca Fernandez; his daughter Ludivina Fernandez; and his brothers, Pablo and Jesus Fernandez.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Guadalupe Fernandez; his children, Jose Guadalupe (Lilia), Roberto, Jr. (Mari), Eliazar Fernandez (Evangelina) and Yolanda Fernandez (Jose Domingo); and his siblings, Juan, Francisco Fernandez, Isabel, Hermelinda, Maria Teresa, Eliza and Dionicia Fernandez.
