With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Janik of Weslaco, Texas, born in Wharton, Texas, who passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Janik to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Janik Jr. and Lillian Janik (Hartle). He is survived by: his wife Jody; his sons, Jeff Janik (Heather) of Weslaco and Clay Janik (Allison) of Austin; his grandchildren, Lilian "Curry" and Jeffrey Janik; and his siblings, Mildred Sobieski, John Janik, Bitsy Lockley, Caroline Ottis (Dick) of El Campo and George Janik (Sharon) of Buena Vista. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (600 S Oklahoma Ave, Weslaco, TX 78596).
